Meet Amy Padron, LPC

Trauma Therapist in Colorado Springs

You might be here because ongoing stress has been grinding you down. Or, past trauma is making it difficult to be present or focus. Whatever led you here, I’m glad we’ve crossed paths. Reaching out for help is one decision that can have long-lasting positive effects. impacting your health, mindset, career, and relationships.

During therapy, we’ll collaborate to identify your treatment goals and determine the areas you’d like to work on. I’ll be transparent throughout the process, so you know what to expect. While there’s no magic button or quick solution when it comes to healing. We’ll work together to reduce the effects of stress and trauma that invade your daily life. Throughout treatment, I’ll draw on various approaches to provide you with the most effective and personalized care.

As a retired police officer specializing in EMDR and trauma therapy, I’ve either been through it or witnessed it. You won’t have to sugarcoat your experiences or worry about scaring me off. My time in law enforcement likely contributed to the directness and sense of humor that I bring to sessions. Over the years, I’ve found that honesty and laughter can be powerful tools for healing. We'll draw on these as well as your strengths as we work together. My hope is to support you and help you discover your potential and resilience.
